Courtney Recchiuti

Courtney has been dancing since the age of 3.  She trained at Triplett Dance Academy in Medford, NJ where she studied many styles of dance, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, and Modern.  Growing up, Courtney was a competitive dancer for 8 years winning many regional and national awards, in all different styles of dance.  She earned a BA in dance from Stockton University in 2010 and was an active member of the Stockton Dance Company and the Stockton University Allstarz dance team.  In 2010, Courtney performed in the American College Dance Festival Northeast Region "Gala" show.  Along with AMDP she is an active member of KAOS Dance Company.  Courtney has performed in numerous show in the Philadelphia and New York areas, such as the Kat Wildish Performance Series, InHale Performance Series, Philly Fringe Festival, IDA Showcase, and the ETC Series.  She also teaches Jazz and Contemporary classes at Edge Dance Center in Lumberton, NJ. She loves to teach competitive and non-competitive classes at Edge.  Courtney is honored and blessed to be a member of the Andrea Mychaels Dance Project!

Anthony Mauriello

Anthony Mauriello is a south Jersey native. Anthony received his BA in theatre and dance performance along with a minor focus in costume design from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.  There he received many nominations and awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and American College Dance Festival for his work both on stage and off stage. Anthony was a member of The Stockton Dance Company for three years working with choreographers such as Henry VanKuiken, Rain Ross, Andrea Mychaels and Rebecca Stenn.  He is an established performer in the South Jersey community and professional theatre circuit with memorable credits such as The Cat in the Hat (Seussical the Musical), Jimmy Harper (Reefer Madness), Lewis (Pippin) and Tommy Djilas (The Music Man) to name a few.  Anthony can also be found at Society Hill Dance Academy in Center City Philadelphia where he teaches Ballroom and Social Dance.  Anthony also works as a freelance choreographer and costume designer for local high school and theatres. He also studio hops around the south Jersey area teaching master classes in Ballroom, Social, Modern, Jazz and Musical Theatre Dance.  He came into this world dancing and performing and plans on going out the same way!    “Live like you'll die tomorrow, work like you don't need the money, and dance like nobody's watching.” –Bob Fosse

Sara Funicello

Sara began dancing at the age of 3 and spent most of her childhood at DANCE! by Debra DiNote, where she was a member of the DANCE! Workshop Company. During this time, she performed lead roles in company productions, as well as won national and regional awards at numerous dance competitions. She attended Southern NJ Academy of Performing Arts at GCIT where she furthered her dance education. Sara graduated from Montclair State University, where she earned a BA in Dance Education. She holds a Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 12 Dance Teacher Certification of Eligibility with Advanced Standing in New Jersey. While at MSU, Sara was a member of the Repertory Dance Company and had the privelege of performing works by influential choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, Charles Weidman, David Gordon, and Doug Elkins. She was asked to perform Fredrick Earl Moseley's Running Spirits at the American College Dance Festival's Gala Performance as well as part of a showcase at the Alvin Ailey Dance Studio. Sara has performed with numerous choreographers in the New York and Philadelphia area and currently teaches at multiple dance studios in South Jersey. She is excited to be part of Andrea Mychaels Dance Project.

Oliva Goodwin

Olivia began her dance training at Joan's Dance Studio in Upland, PA under the direction of Kandy Sheehan Hughes, where she studied ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop and tap. She was a member of their dance company and had the opportunity to perform at local parades, competitions, Walt Disney World, and Hershey Park. Olivia received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania ‘13, where she was a member of the University Dance Company, University Theatre, and developed a passion for modern dance, improvisation and show production. Her choreography was seen in the West Chester University Theatre musicals She Loves Me (recipient Fall’12: Certificate of Merit Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, ACTF Region II) and A Year with Frog and Toad, as well as the 12th and 13th annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Benefit. During the 2013 holiday season, Olivia was a costumed character and parade performer at Sesame Place located in Langhorne, PA. Currently Olivia teaches dance and choreographs throughout Chester and Delaware County, PA. She is beyond grateful to be a company member of Andrea Mychaels Dance Project, and perform with such a talented group of dancers these past few seasons.

Myles Mungo

Myles Mungo, a Willingboro, New Jersey native, always had a passion for dance. Myles began his formal training in dance two years ago at Stockton University, where he recently received the Joshua Cabot Scholarship for Dance and Friends of the Stockton Performing Arts Center Scholarship. He had always wanted to pursue dance, and is excited to be making his dreams of sharing the beauty of dance with others come true.  Mungo has performed in works by Meredith Rainey, Julie B. Johnson, Germaul Barnes and with Afro-One in Atlantic City. He is also an apprentice at Rain Ross Dance and dancer for Roger Lee Dance Company.  Myles is excited to become a part of the Andrea Mychaels Dance Project.

Margaret Moran

Margaret is thrilled to be joining the Andrea Mychaels Dance Project.  Originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, Margaret grew up studying dance at the Hershey School of Dance under the direction of Kelly Strange. Margaret attended the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts as a ballet major her junior year in high school.  In college, Margaret attended Slippery Rock University for one year as a dance major and was a member of the Dance Express Dance Team.  Margaret later transferred to Pennsylvania State University and received a minor in Dance.   While attending Penn State, Margaret was heavily involved in Orchesis Dance Company where she performed, choreographed, taught company classes, and acted as the elected treasurer.  While living in Manhattan, Margaret continued her dance education at various dance schools including Steps on Broadway, Alvin Ailey Extension, and PMT Dance Studio as well as performed in the PMT Dance Studio Showcases.  Margaret has also worked as a dance teacher throughout her career, most recently at LeRoux School of the Arts where she taught ballet, lyrical, tap and hip hop.  Margaret currently resides in West Chester, PA with her husband and two young children.

Emily Rawlins
Emily Rawlins

Growing up in Southern New Jersey, Emily was lucky to spend a lot of time on stage performing with local ballet schools and theater groups. She has performed in operas, plays, musicals, modern and ballet works. She has performed professionally with Roxey Ballet, Alchemy Dance Company, Dance Del Bello, Reverie Dance Theatre, Beyond Dance Company, and KAOS. Emily attended Rowan University and graduated with a BA in Music and a minor in International Studies. While in college, she had the opportunity to perform as a dancer with the Rowan Opera Company. Her senior year, Emily spent a year living in New York City and studying at Steps on Broadway. During and after college, Emily studied Pilates, ballet, and modern with ABT Certified teachers at Cooper River Ballet in Collingswood, NJ. To further her training, she became a trainee with the Joffrey Ballet School on merit scholarship and also participated in intensives and workshops at Pittsburgh Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. This is Emily’s third year with AMDP.

 

Kelly Ann Mulderig
Dana Balsamo


Dana earned a BFA in Dance from Montclair State University.  Upon graduation she was presented with the Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Dance Award. Additionally, she spent two summers training at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts. She has had the opportunity to perform works by renowned choreographers such as Paul Taylor, Robert Battle, Doug Varone, Earl Mosley, and others.  Dana has been seen performing with the Yass Hakoshima Movement Theatre 2011-2012 and Reverie Dance Theatre 2013-2015.  Her own choreography has been showcased at The Philly Fringe Arts Festival, Staten Island Modern, and The American College Dance Festival.   Dana has also choreographed several musicals at local high schools and currently serves as a choreographer for The Levoy Theatre. Dana is thrilled to be dancing and performing with AMDP this year!

Kelly-Ann began dancing at the age of two. Throughout the course of her dance career she has studied various styles of dance including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, Irish, lyrical, and modern. She had the privilege to perform at various community events and parades like the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Six Flags Great Adventure Dance Festival, and Disney Magic Music Days. At the age of thirteen, Kelly-Ann became a teacher’s assistant and began using her knowledge of dance and her positive attitude to help instruct and motivate the students at the studio.

Her love for dancing and teaching brought her to Montclair State University where she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Business Administration. At Montclair she actively studied a wide variety of modern dance, including that of choreographers Paul Taylor, Jose Limon, Twyla Tharp, Lester Horton, Doug Elkins, Charles Weidman, Earl Moseley, Yvonne Rainer, and Helen Tamiris. In 2012, Kelly-Ann also received her teaching degree from Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School.

Since graduating from Montclair, she has been involved in various performances across the Delaware Valley, including Philly Fringe and ETC Performance Series. Kelly-Ann is currently a teacher and choreographer for Edge Dance Center in Lumberton, NJ.

 

Amber Hongsermeier

 Originally from Grand Island, NE, Amber Hongsermeier is a dancer, dance educator, and choreographer. She has performed as a professional dancer, commercial model, and performance artist in Las Vegas, NV, Japan, and the Tri-state area.  She earned her BA in Dance and a minor in History from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she received the Susan Porter Award for Excellence in dance artistry and choreography. Her extensive training in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, and several cultural dance styles such as African, Latin Ballroom, and Belly dance has made her a versatile performer. Currently she performs with Beyond Dance Company, Esstant Dance Company, Ujima Dance Theater, and is excited to be dancing for Andrea Mychaels Dance Project.
